Haircuts for the Homeless: A Day of Transformation and Hope.

Monday, August 26, 2024, will forever be a day etched in our hearts. Today, our community came together in an extraordinary way through our first-ever "Haircuts for the Homeless" event. Partnering with three incredibly talented and compassionate hairstylists from a local salon, we set out to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

The atmosphere at Feed My Sheep was nothing short of inspiring. The three hairstylists, whose generosity and kindness know no bounds, volunteered their time and skills to provide haircuts to the homeless. Their dedication and warm spirits brought smiles, joy, and a renewed sense of dignity to everyone who sat in their chairs. It's amazing how a simple haircut can transform not just a person's appearance, but also uplift their spirit and restore their confidence.

But the blessings didn’t stop there. After the haircuts, we handed out free Bibles, graciously donated by Donna. The Bibles were received with gratitude and hope, offering spiritual nourishment and comfort. It's our belief that in giving physical care and spiritual support, we can truly make a holistic impact on the lives of those we serve.

We are deeply grateful to these beautiful souls—the hairstylists and Donna—for their contributions. Their selflessness exemplifies the true spirit of community and compassion. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in prayer and support.

As we continue our outreach, we ask you to keep us and the homeless in your prayers. Your support means the world to us and to those we serve.

In the words of Matthew 25:35-36: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
